Skin Needling is also known as Collagen Induction Therapy. The treatment involves the use of a device with tiny needles. These needles penetrate the skin causing micro-trauma to the existing skin cells. This activates the body’s own natural wound healing processes, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin fibres.
This treatment is ideal for tightening skin, reducing the appearance of enlarged pores, hyperpigmentation, stretch marks and scars. Topical numbing cream is used to ensure a comfortable treatment experience. Post treatment product is provided for after care.
Results can be seen from 3months post treatment. A treatment regime of between 2-6 sessions may be required depending on the patient's specific skin concerns.
